01What's the difference between custom web development and using a page builder?
A page builder (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow) starts from a template built for thousands of different businesses. It constrains performance, visual output and what can be built. Custom development starts from zero: the architecture, interactions, structure and performance profile are shaped entirely around your project. For businesses where the first impression matters (premium brands, clinics, hospitality), the difference is visible in the first 3 seconds. Custom-built sites also load measurably faster: no plugin overhead, no unused CSS, no CMS round-trip for public pages.
02How do you deploy websites to serve global users quickly?
Sites we build are statically exported and served from Cloudflare's global edge network: when a visitor from Dubai, London or São Paulo loads your site, the HTML comes from a datacenter near them, not from a single origin server in one country, and no CMS runs on the request. We do not publish a load-time figure for a site we have not measured; each project's Core Web Vitals are measured after launch and reported with the date and tool used.
03Can you build custom WebGL animations or scroll-driven interactions?
Yes, see SEHER, the Bosphorus photographer demo, for a WebGL water hero that responds wave by wave on scroll, and TERROIR for cursor-reactive water-droplet physics. These are engineered from scratch, not assembled from plugin libraries. We scope custom interactions against the project's purpose: interaction should serve the experience, not perform for its own sake. If the brief calls for it, we build it. If it would hurt conversion (trust-critical sites like clinics), we don't.
